Experience: 20 years in commercial real estate finance and development.
Brian joined First Amherst Development Group in 2005 as Executive Vice President following a 20 year career in commercial real estate banking and finance. Brian’s primary responsibilities at First Amherst Development Group include project development, acquisitions, deal structuring, capital sourcing and budgeting.
Prior to joining First Amherst Development Group, Brian served as Vice President and Regional Director for a leading, private affordable housing investor and developer. In this role, Brian managed the day-to-day operations of two regional offices and oversaw the debt origination and equity placement efforts throughout the 18-county region of Western New York. Prior, Brian held various management and officer level positions at several top financial institutions including Key Bank, HSBC-USA and Bank of America, specializing in the area of commercial real estate finance.
Brian’s background includes all facets of commercial real estate lending, bond finance, credit administration, asset management and leasing. Brian has experience working with many financing and funding sources including various local municipalities and state authorities, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, as well as several of the nation’s largest banks, institutional investors and pension funds.
Brian graduated from the State University of New York-School of Business with a degree in Business Administration.
Brian has served as an officer and board member of several not-for-profit and community organizations over the years. Brian is active with Orchard Park Little League and currently serves as a Board Member and League Commissioner. Brian is also an Advisory Committee Member for the Brian Moorman PUNT Foundation, which supports pediatric cancer programs. Brian is a native of Albany, New York and currently resides in Orchard Park, New York with his wife and three children. |
