Kathy Behan joined First Amherst Development Group in 1989. Since that time she has held management positions within the asset management, property operations, marketing and administrative services departments.
As Executive Vice President of Corporate Administration Kathy is responsible for day to day management and continued growth of the commercial and residential portfolios, marketing/public relations and office administration departments at First Amherst Development Group LLC.
Kathy’s has contributed to the development and redevelopment of 1.7 million square feet of office, medical, warehouse, specialty retail and residential projects within the First Amherst Development Group portfolio. Several notable projects Kathy has managed over the years include the development of the U/B Commons on the University at Buffalo North Campus, a 75,000 square foot office/retail facility, the redevelopment of the Williamsville Executive Center an 84,000 square foot office building and the University Orthopaedics Center a 33,000 square foot medical and diagnostic imaging center.
Kathy has served as a board member and officer in community and business organizations and is a member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, New York State Commercial Association of Realtors, Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Working For Downtown and Williamsville Business and Professional Association.
A Buffalo native, Kathy attended Niagara University and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management. Kathy resides in Williamsville with her husband and two children. |
